Press Release (PDF 144 KB) Sea & Vines Map to Settlement Wines

Settlement Wines is very excited to announce that the brilliant international recording artist JAY HOAD will perform on our deck at Sea & Vines 2011.
Fresh from touring the Caribbean, and just out of the studio after recording his cool new album Stories for the Soul, Jay will play two 120 minute shows on each day of the festival.
Jay Hoad is an acclaimed songwriter and performer who has spent the last 7 years touring around the globe performing with some of the biggest names in the business including Bob Marley’s “Wailers” while on his 2010 USA tour.
Whether Jay is performing as a soloist or fronting his high-energy six-piece band, his creative compositions blend funk, rock, reggae, Latin, pop and world music with Australian tribal influences. Jay plays up to fifteen instruments throughout his solo show including didgeridoo, dobro, lap steel guitar, guitar, dulcimer, harmonica, odd drums, percussion, banjo, ocarina, loops and more.
We guarantee that this will be a very stylish, relaxing and entertaining event that will be hard to forget. Chill out on the verandah, soak up Jay’s amazing music, drink up our glorious view of the Vales, and feast on Settlement’s legendary Wood Oven pizzas and platters, stacked with fresh produce from our Kitchen Garden.
